Types of surveys we perform include but are not limited to those listed below.

Boundary Surveys: We pride ourselves on the efficient and timely manner in which we completed boundary surveys on large and small tracts. Our staff of professionals and technicians has completed many surveys that exceed 40,000 acres and many more of tens of thousands of acres. We are experienced in GLO retracement, boundaries of lots, and metes and bounds surveys.

Global Positioning System Surveys: Since 1986 we have owned and operated differential GPS equipment. We were one of the first surveying firms in Florida to acquire this equipment and have performed Geodetic surveys for the Florida DOT and DEP, the US Navy, Alabama Power Company, and many surveying and engineering firms in Florida.

DOT Surveys: We are experienced and familiar with various types of DOT surveys including control surveys, bridge surveys, right of way surveys, topographic maps, and maintenance maps.

Topographic Surveys: We have performed numerous topographic surveys of areas that are hundreds of acres as well of small tracts. We have Real Time GPS equipment which can greatly enhance our capability to perform topographic surveys.

Wetland and Environmentally Sensitive Boundaries and Mapping: We have performed numerous wetland conservation easements and mapping projects for the Florida DEP and the US Department of Agriculture (RECD). This type of project is augmented with our Marsh Master track vehicle and sub-centimeter and sub-meter GPS equipment.

Aerial Mapping: Topographic surveys as well as other types of surveys can be performed or augmented with our analytical stereo plotter from new, existing, or historical photography. This has tremendous potential in determining areas, features, and volumes which may have changed or been disturbed.

Mean High Water Surveys: We have established the mean high water boundaries of areas whose water boundaries exceed 100 miles including the Big Bend Coastal tracts in Taylor and Dixie Counties; water boundaries on the New River, Ochlockonee River, and Crooked River in Franklin and Liberty Counties; and the Mean High Water Line of portions of St. George Sound and St. George Island in Franklin County.

Subdivision Surveys: We have worked on numerous subdivisions--unrecorded and recorded--since 1976. One of the largest is Indian Springs which includes a golf course covering over 1,000 acres with private lakes and frontage on Merritt's Mill Pond on the banks of the famous Blue Springs Run. Other subdivisions have been developed by us within the overall boundary of Indian Springs including Andrew Jackson Trail, Woodgate, and currently being developed, Eagles Landing, a private gated community at the entrance on Highway 90. We are currently working on Chipola Air Park a proposed aircraft owners subdivision. Another large subdivision of 500 acres with lots from two to ten acres called Spanish Trail Estates is being developed as a gated community.

Land Planning:

ALTA/ACSM Surveys: American Land Title Association (ALTA) have specific needs, peculiar to title insurance matters, which require particular information for acceptance by title insurance companies when said companies are asked to insure title to land without exceptions as to the many matters which might be discoverable from survey and inspection and not be evidenced by the public records.  In the general interest of the public, the surveying profession, title insurers and abstracters, ALTA, the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping (ASCM) and the National Society of Professional Surveyors, Inc. (NSPS) jointly promulgate and set forth such details and criteria for these standards.  Mr. Bannerman served on the re-write committee for NSPS on the rule changes.  We are very familiar with these types of surveys and have completed numerous ALTA/ACSM surveys.

Hazardous Waste Surveys: Through joint collaboration with members of DES Resource Groups, Inc., we have performed numerous radioactive, hazardous and mixed waste treatment, processing equipment, systems and support services.  The group's engineering disciplines include engineering management, mechanical, chemical, systems, electrical (power, I&C, PLCs) and environmental.
