Our name originated in Scotland in the 1300s. Our family came to America in the 1700s. We fought proudly in the American Revolutionary War. As we proudly defended our country, we will defend our survey for you.

Bannerman Surveyors was established in 1975, after the death of Mr. Buddy Bannerman’s father, R. C. Bannerman, Jr., Professional Land Surveyor and Engineer. The elder Mr. Bannerman retired in 1962 after 33 years as State Maintenance Engineer for the Florida Department of Transportation. Buddy and his wife, Sharon, had worked closely with him for many years. He had engaged in boundary surveying, lot surveying, and road construction work and had earned an outstanding reputation for fairness, honesty, and accurate professional work. After his death, Buddy and Sharon founded Bannerman Surveyors on these principles and those that Buddy had learned serving in the U. S. Army Green Berets.
