We have the capability to do simple lot surveys, large boundary surveys, section retracement projects, and subdivisions. In the past, we have performed engineering projects to include roads and sanitary and sewer or storm drainage.
We have the equipment to tackle any job in the surveying and engineering field whether it be surveying in swamps, marsh lands, and water or island work. We are currently a statewide surveying contractor with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Bureau of Survey and Mapping. We have one of the best records for the timely and successful completion of projects throughout the state. We have performed and successfully completed projects in all counties located in North Florida.
All of our personnel have worked on DEP and Water Management District projects
and are familiar with the survey and mapping procedures involved in completing
large and small surveys, mapping projects, and wetland delineations. We have tremendous experience and knowledge in the determination of mean-high-water boundaries. We also have a strong quality control system that has worked excellently for us over the years.

Bannerman Surveyors is equipped with all the necessary items to perform surveys
including one second total stations, data collectors, four-wheel-drive vehicles,
and pick-up trucks. We also are equipped with swamp buggies, airboats, crew
boats, a shallow water navigable Go-Devil boat, all-terrain vehicles, truck
radios, a repeater at our office, and a mobile repeater for field operators. For
accurate geodetic work we have dual frequency Global Positioning System (GPS)
receivers which are capable of establishing extremely accurate positions in a
very short time period. We also are equipped with Real Time GPS equipment, which
can yield centimeter accuracy in real time. Our office is also equipped with an
analytical stereo plotter, which can use new photography, black and white or
infrared, and can also use existing Florida Department of Transportation (DOT)
or other photography. With this analytical stereo plotter we can accurately map
large areas once we have established a ground control for the photography.
